What is a good name for a small girl character in a children's novel?

She's going to look similar to a Katamari, if you know what that is. She needs a first and last name and the last name is important becuase the other two characters are going to be her parents that go by "Mother _______" and "Father _______". PLEASE HELP ME.

What is a good name for a small girl character in a children's novel?

Reply:JK Rowling said she got ideas from the phone book for many of the names she used. Why not try that? Actually, the names are the last things you should worry about when you're writing. Just use "placeholder" names while you're writing, until you come up with the names you're happy with.
Reply:well it depends...what is the characters personality?

If she's sweet and innocent then maybe a cute name like lucy or daisy.

It needs to be something individual.
Reply:I think the name Penelope is adorable....maybe Suzie? (Susan) OH! And Daisy sounds nice, youthful, and innocent....
Reply:Suzie
Reply:Mini.
