Can i change my children's name's without their father's consent?

No unless he is not listed on the birth certificate. Google for more information (changing my child's surname without consent).

Highly unlikely. Once you file the actual petition for the name change they will send a copy of that to the other parent or request you to have the other parent sign a paper saying they are ok with the name change.

If they aren't then they can fight you on it.

In the case you children can wait until they are 18 and file to change their own names.
