This book was read to my daughter in the mid 80's. (she was about 5-7 yrs old) Every time the old woman thought she was dying, something would happen to the duck. The old woman would nurse the duck back to health. (or something like that) A verse that she remembers from the book is "Lord love a duck and the duck loves me" (has nothing to do with movie titled Lord, love a duck) Would love to find title or author. Does this sound familiar to any of you aged 25 and up?
