Does anyone know the name of a children's book series about a family of porcupines?

Reply:There are several (woodland critters are a popular topic for characters) - do you remember anything about how hard the book was, how "cartoony" the illustrations were, whether it was a series, or the plot of the book(s)?
Little Critter is probably a pretty good bet - they were widely published, and did feature porcupines. They also had a cricket and a spider on each page. I belive they're by Mercer Meyer.
