Are the names "Tyrone", and "Warren" okay for a child's name in Ireland?
If you want the p.c. answer then- yes of course you should name your children whatever you want.
If you want the realistic answer - the child is likely to get the piss taken out of them... especially Tyrone...

Reply:Warren, yes, it's actually quite common. I've never come across a child called 'Tyrone' in Ireland, but if you're going to name a child 'Clare' or 'Kerry', why not 'Tyrone'?

Reply:Legal, but to my way of thinking uninspired. Remember that people do make judgements about students and job applicants based on issues like names - I'm aware it's unfair and not totally rational, but they do.
Choosing a name is a big responsibility for parents, so do it well!
