What is your child's/children name and why did you choose it?

I chose to name my son Giovanni because Ive always loved it and it means Gift from God.

What is your child's/children name and why did you choose it?
I have 2 perfect little ladies and there names are Ander Eve and Tessa Eve.

Ander... We liked the name Aiden in the early part of my pregnancy, but then we couldn't remember what we liked, my husband thought it was Ander, and after she was born the nurse asked what her name was and until that second I didn't have a answer, but Ander it was...

Tessa... I liked the name Tessa when I was preggers with Ander, but it wasn't right for her... Then when I was pregnant with Tess, I would read wedding/engagement announcements (They are a excellent source of names) and I rean across Tess, and I liked it again. I also liked the name Clary, but when she was born I knew she was Tessa, but it wasn't official until the next day. P.S. Tessa is Asset spelled backwards...Just a intersting fact. Oh and Eve is my Mothers middle name and mine, so I thought I would give it to my girls. I always felt a little special because my middle name was also my Mom's. Now it is really special to me. My Aunt just had 2 kids and she gave both of them a boy and girl, her maiden name, as a middle name, (Tomasi) very different, but I think doing that links them together forever. They will always share something. No matter how different they become in life.
Reply:Ethan Matthew (E is my ex's middle inital, M is my middle inital)

Lillie Elizabeth (her initals spell LES, my ex's name %26amp; his initals %26amp; he wanted her named after him...also his first name is Leslie...that is why Lillie is spelled the way that it is)
Reply:My children are

Cory Ray I just liked the name Cory and Ray is after Ray Charles

then

Nicolette Marie. I just liked those names

Then

Aaron Jonathon [he passed away]

Then

Joshua Christian I think it sounds very nice together although it does translate to Jesus Christ. LOL

Then

Tyler James I chose that name because I thought it was a strong name.
Reply:Daniel John- after my dad, and a brother I had that died

Sean Patrick- because according to his dad it was "a good Irish name"

Arianna Irene- named after my mother (sorta long story)

Phillip- named after his father.
Reply:Jarad Lee...Jarad because I liked the name and Lee was my dads middle name.

Deegan Che Austin...Deegan after the surname of motorcross rider Brian Deegan, Che' (Shay) after my brother and Austin is my husbands fathers mothers maiden name.

Lily Mae...Lily because it is beautiful and my grandma is named Lilla. Mae for my other grandma Mavis that my grandad called Mae.

Hope I can find a good name like the ones i found for my other kids when my 4th is born in november!
Reply:brandon for brue lee's son that died
Reply:I chose names that I love, and it was important for us to have biblical names.

Drew Alexander- Drew means 'manly' and Alexander means 'defender of men'

Hannah Isabella- Hannah means 'grace of God' and Isabella means 'my God is a vow'

Luke Nathanael- Luke means 'man from Lucania' (obviously the third Gospel in the Bible) and Nathanael means 'gift of God'

I think my kids have beautiful names, and I love that I didn't give in to "creative" made up names that have no history or real meaning.
Reply:My name is Alicia Lynne. My parents wanted to name me Felicia, but then my cousin had that name, so they changed to Alicia. And my middle name is the same as both of my parents'. i dont have kids... yet!
Reply:My Little Girl's name is Onthatile - it means he loved me, and i really love it its quiet nice and unique. ur names r unique too
Reply:well, I didn't start out so good naming my 7 children. I actually named my first child after a song entitled"Shannon" but when she found out the song was about a dog-when she reached legal age she changed it. my 2nd child was named"Stephen"-after Stephen King as I was reading all of his books then . My 3rd child was named after my husband. My 4th child-out of the blue name I guess as was my twins, even though they were born on xmas-I named them, Christopher James and Jamie Jon-the middle names being their great grandfathers first names and my daughter-kylee beth-from a baby book but we wanted the first name to begin with k-my husbands first name and the middle name to begin with b-my first name.
Reply:My son's first name is a derivation of the name he was given at birth (we adopted him). We took out some of the letters to make his name more masculine and recognizable. It suits him very well.

His middle name is Makana which means "gift" in Hawaiian.
Reply:My children's names are:

Abigail Marie

Anna Elizabeth

Benjamin Lloyd

Andrea Joy

All of their names have a combination of a family name and a biblical name!
Reply:i names my little girl \

Sasha LaRita

wanted a unique first name and the middle name is after my mom (RITA) but sasha rita sounded funny so we came up with LaRita

~~~i really like that name good choice~~~
Reply:Caroline Rose and Sarah Elisabeth --
Caroline because of two Aunt Carolines in our family -- it seemed very classy and beautiful.
Rose because my favorite grandmother's name was Rose, and it sounds so pretty with Caroline.
Sarah after my great-grandmother -- and I loved the name. It wasn't so overused back in 1980.
Elisabeth after my mom -- and it's beautiful with Sarah.
I wanted names that would never go out of style, and that I wouldn't get sick of -- my kids are all grown up now, and I still love their names.
Reply:I have always loved the name Aurora. She was a character in one of my favourite books, and i named my daughter Aurora, it means goddess of the dawn.And she is the most friendliest baby in the morning and was also born at dawn so her name fits her well.
