Anyone remember a children's book about two boys named Henry?

I am desperately trying to remember the title of a book from my childhood (I was born in 1972) about two boys named Henry. I think they met in a supermarket. There might have been a teddy bear named Henry, as well. I remember the illustrations were very beautiful, possibly watercolor, similar in style to Ezra Jack Keats. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!
