My boyfriend watched this cartoon as a youth in the 1980's (so it may be older), and I want to try to find it for him for Christmas. From what he remembers is there's a boy whose family is turned into blue toys (or robots) and he goes to this place where there are a bunch of toys and a rocking horse tells him how / helps him to save his parents. Does anyone know the name of the cartoon he is referring to (we've already determined it's not Astro Boy)? Any help would be appreciated greatly!
